Injury Management

Course Details

Injury management within an organisation needs to meet the needs of the injured party, their employer and other employees in the workplace. e3learning, in conjunction with WorkCover Corporation, have developed training courses for both employers and employees that provide a comprehensive understanding of the injury management process.

Through the courses, interactive workplace simulations and animations develop and reinforce the participant’s understanding of their roles and responsibilities and the measures to get injured workers rehabilitated and back to meaningful work as soon as possible.

  • A thorough knowledge of their role and responsibilities in relation to injury management
  • A strong practical understanding of the steps to take in the process of managing injuries

Employees

The employee course covers:

  • Overview of the injury management process
  • Filing a claim
  • Developing rehabilitation plans
  • Developing return to work plans
  • Steps involved in returning to work

Target audience
The course has been designed to provide training for all general staff.

Employers

The employer course covers:

  • Legal requirements of an employer / supervisor in relation to preventing and managing injuries in the workplace
  • Information and resources required for the employer / supervisor
  • Role of claims manager
  • Employer / Supervisor claim management
  • Managing the rehabilitation and return to work processes

Target audience
The course has been designed to provide training for all staff in a supervisory role.
